The holidays are a special time of year, espically for Seattle families. One of the things that make them so special is cutting down your own Christmas tree. There is something magical about finding the perfect tree and then taking it home and decorating it. It is a tradition that many families enjoy and it is something that you will always remember. Below are the top three Christmas tree farms that are within driving distance of Seattle.
#1 Honey Tree Christmas Tree Farm
Honey tree farm opens on Friday, November 25th, 2022 at 9:00 am and they have an amazing selection of trees as well as hot coco and fun activities!
At Christmas time, the traditions of families become essential in making the holiday season special. Honeytree Farm is honored to be part of families’ tradition of picking out Christmas trees! The farm offers warm and friendly customer service, a helping hand, and free hot cocoa and candy canes to make the hunt for the “perfect tree” enjoyable. Santa is usually present on the weekends at the farm as well. The farm is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to dark and from 9:00 a.m. until dark on Saturday and Sunday to serve customers.

From Hwy 18 heading East: Take the Auburn/Black Diamond Road exit toward Flaming Geyser State Park. Turn right off the exit and take the next right onto Green Valley Road. Follow Green Valley Road for 7 miles until you get to the corner of 218th. Tree farm is on the left at the corner of 218th and Green Valley Road.

Weekends – 9:00 am to dark (Including Friday, 11/25)
Weekdays – 10:00 am to dark

Trees
All trees that are available to be cut are priced individually (with flaws taken into account) and have white tags with the type, height and price listed on them. Prices below are a guideline and are the same in our pre-cut tree section.
Douglas Fir
The Douglas fir is most traditional and full. It lasts about 3 weeks in your home in a cooler temperature and with proper water. Approximately $10/ft.
Fraser Fir
The Fraser fir is long-lasting and has heavy, narrow branches with a silver look underneath. Approximately $12/ft.
Grand Fir
The Grand fir is the most fragrant and lasts about 4 weeks in your home in a cooler temperature and proper water. Approximately $12/ft.
Noble Fir
The Noble is long-lasting and has strong branches. Approximately $15/foot.
Nordmann Fir
The Nordmann fir is a kelly green color and long lasting. Approximately $15/ft.
#2 Trinity Tree Farm
Pre-opening weekend is from November 19 and 20, 2022. Trinity Tree Farm was established in 1982, nestled on a hilltop in the historic town of Issaquah, Washington. The family farm has expanded over the years to 36-acres of beautiful Douglas, Grand, Noble, Nordmann and Fraser Firs.
Trinity Tree Farm is a festive family-oriented place to select and cut your own Christmas tree. They also have a healthy selection of pre-cut trees to choose from!

We will reopen for the season on November 25, 2022 (Black Friday) at 9am.

We also have discount trees ranging from $25 – $50

#3 Pfaff’s Christmas Tree Farm
Opening day at Pfaff’s is November 25th at 9:00 AM. Pfaff’s Old Time Farm is a farm run by family and friends in Auburn, WA that offers visitors 30-acres of beautiful, quality Christmas trees. Picking your tree on the farm is a natural experience, away from chemicals, concrete lots, and chain-link fences. You can cut down your own tree or choose from freshly cut trees.
